Ann Voss, 77, of Patterson, NY, died Friday, January 29, 2016 in Somers, NY. Ann was born on December 26, 1938 and adopted by Andreas and Grace (Fleming) Dzierson. Ann graduated from Mercy College in 1985 with a BS in Psychology. She was a LPN with PARC until 1999.

Ann was a constant presence at BIANYS Annual Conferences throughout the years. It was at the Confernece in 2013, when Ann announced a plan to start a walk raising awareness of brain injury, which led to the first March On for Brain Injury Walk in the Hudson Valley. Ann was the honoree of that first Walk in 2014, and we are happy that the Walk is now established as an annual event.

Ann will be truly missed, but we will honor her strength and spirit through the Walk and by continuing to speak out about brain injury awareness.
