Presented by Goldblatt & Associates, the Annual Conference and Medical Symposium were live June 9-10 and June 11. All presentations and speakers were recorded, so opportunities for continuing educations are still available.

Annual Conference

The 2021 Annual Conference hosted interactive presentations that focus on strategies for success, skill-building and practical applications, as well as information to support and serve New York’s brain injury community. Sessions provided learning opportunities for all: brain injury survivors, caregivers, and professionals.

Medical Symposium

Focusing on brain injury rehabilitation in 2021 and what it looks like in this new landscape, the 2021 Medical Symposium focused on COVID and its impacts on brain injury and treatments. sessions that have been curated to represent the medical issues faced by the brain injury community, presented by top professionals from a broad range of disciplines.

PROFESSIONALS: We have many continuing education credits available! BIANYS is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s Office of the Professions as a provider for continuing competencies in the following areas: Social Work (#0539), Physical Therapy/ PT Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologist & Audiologists, Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) and Occupational Therapy/ OT assistants.  We also provide CBIS continuing education credit and Certificates of Attendance.
