These webinars are part of our Improving Concussion Management for New York State Students project\, funded by the New York State Health Foundation. \nNot only will you gain an appreciation for what a concussed student faces on a daily basis\, but you’ll also: \n\nLearn about concussion symptoms\, causes\, recovery and barriers to recovery\nExamine how an effective Concussion Management Team operates\nBe trained on Return to Learn protocols\n\nTo register for one of these free webinars\, click on a date. DESCRIPTION:Sorry\, registration is now closed for this webinar. \nProgram Description: \nThis presentation will discuss the importance of groups in tandem with individual treatment in brain injury rehabilitation. It will highlight specifics of qualities endemic to groups and give examples to illustrate them. \n  \nAbout the Presenter: \nPamela Singer\, MSW\, LCSW\nSenior Social Worker\, Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health Ambulatory Care Center \n \n\n\nPamela Singer\, MSW\, LCSW has a Bachelor’s degree from Occidental College and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from NYU. She is currently a Senior Social Worker at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health Ambulatory Care Center\, specializing in Brain Injury\, Concussion and Stroke. Prior to that\, she worked at Rusk’s inpatient Stroke and Brain Injury Unit. She has developed and continues to run numerous support and psychoeducational groups\, both inpatient and outpatient.
