SUMMARY:Brain Injury Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The Brain Injury Symposium is presented in partnership by the Brain Injury Association of New York State and Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health. \nWith focus on anoxic brain injury\, professionals and specialists in brain injury medicine and rehabilitation are invited to learn about an interdisciplinary approach to this type of brain injury. This full-day event will provide sessions led by experts\, with panel discussions\, opportunities to network with peers\, and gain access to relevant treatment information. \nThe symposium will be presented in person at NYU Langone Health\, Science Building\, Room SB 1 03 or live-streamed via Zoom. \nAdditional information coming soon.

His wife sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI)\, leading him to navigate the complexities of recovery\, caregiving\, and the healthcare system firsthand. \nDrawing from both his professional expertise and lived experience\, Daniel now speaks and teaches about the challenges of brain injury\, caregiving\, and resilience.
