DESCRIPTION:Join the Brain Injury Association of New York State for our Annual Meeting. This meeting provides members with the opportunity to review the Slate of Officers\, consider proposed bylaw updates\, and hear financial projections. The Annual Meeting is a vital forum for transparency\, accountability\, and active member participation in organizational governance. \nNumerous minor edits have been made to the bylaws\, along with a proposed change to the title District Board Member\, which would now be At-Large Board Member. This reflects the evolving needs of BIANYS\, with responsibilities now shared among all Board Members to ensure regional representation. An Advisory Committee has also been created to strengthen survivor and caregiver input. Statewide representation remains a priority\, with bylaws continuing to call for at least one survivor or caregiver from each district.
