Support groups enable people with brain injury and their caregivers to exchange ideas in a confidential atmosphere where both positive and negative views can be expressed without judgment. Remember – you are not alone. Support groups may provide hope, information, friendship, sharing, self-advocacy, problem-solving skills and opportunities for personal growth. There are multiple support groups in some areas.
Only BIANYS-affiliated support groups will be listed on the site. Please review the BIANYS Support Group Guidebook for affiliation information.
If you would like to start a BIANYS-affiliated support group, please contact the office at (518) 459-7911 for more information and necessary documents.
