Program Description: Veterans with TBI often face other than honorable discharge for behaviors stemming from their injury. Without an honorable discharge status, these former service members may be unable to receive vital veteran benefits. This presentation will discuss some of the problems faced by veterans with TBI and will provide information on how they can apply for a discharge status upgrade through the US Department of Defense, the character of discharge upgrades, and the New York State Restoration of Honor Act.
In recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, this webinar is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
