This session with provide an overview of Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and the techniques used to address movement, speech, language and cognition. This presentation will also discuss how NMT treatment translates over telehealth.

Brian Costa, MA, MT-BC, NMT/F
Brian grew up as compassionate service minded individual with a dream of bringing his passion of music and serving others to fruition. After completing his undergraduate degree in Music and Psychology in 2011, Brian received his masters in Music Therapy. He then continued his education and received advanced training in the field, becoming one of only 300 people in the world with the distinction of NMT Fellow. A clinician in the Spaulding Hospital Network, Brian provides group, 1:1 in-home services and teletherapy services. He also supervises music therapy students and interns from local colleges and universities.
