Program Description: After brain injury, the primary focus is often on the physical repercussions. This presentation will emphasize the cognitive, behavioral and emotional symptoms of brain injury, which are sometimes the more difficult symptoms to cope with. Additionally, the neurobiological underpinnings of these symptoms, how they may present in patients with brain injury and how to best respond to and manage these patients will be covered.
