The Brain Injury Association of New York State’s (BIANYS) has announced the unveiling of their new website.  The site replaces the old site with updated and newer features making the site accessible and user friendly for all that utilize it as resource.  The website address is and it truly represents the collaborative effort of members, consumers, providers and professionals who participated in the design and provided feedback on how user friendly the site is.  Anyone interested in providing feedback on the site can fill out a survey at and be will be entered to win one free 2016 BIANYS membership.  Survey will be available until July 17, 2015 and winner of the free membership will be announced on July 24, 2015.

New features include support group locations, easier accessibility to FACTS Coordinators, latest news, updates on advocacy initiatives, volunteer opportunities and application, access to social media outlets and helpful links to resources and webinars.   The Brain Injury Association of NYS Website historically receives over 200,000 visits per year.  “We are extremely pleased to offer this new and improved website to our consumers, members, caregivers and professionals.  We live in a world where the internet is the first source of information but information needs to be streamlined, concise and accessible and we hope that anyone who utilizes the site will feel empowered by its information and support.” stated Eileen Reardon, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of NYS

The Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS) is a statewide non-profit membership organization that advocates on behalf of individuals with brain injuries and their families, and promotes prevention.  Established in 1982, BIANYS provides education, advocacy and community support services that lead to the improved outcome for children and adults with brain injuries.  BIANYS offers a toll free Family Help Line, chapters and support groups throughout the state, prevention and educational programs, mentoring programs, speakers bureau and a resource library.  BIANYS plays a vital role in the development of public policy on the federal, state and local level.
